FAQs
You may have a few, or many questions, so here we have tried to think of the things you may have questions regarding. I'm sure we've not thought of every scenario or thought you may have, so if you can't find your answer just head to the 'Contact Us' page and give us a shout!
Q: 'Can I pay a layaway plan over a longer period than six months?'
A: Yes it's completely possible, please message or call us to discuss your options.
Q: 'Is postage always complimentary?'
A: Yes postage for your jewellery to be sent to you is always paid by us. The only exception is for any returns (which almost never happens anyway!), we ask for you to return the jewellery the same way in which we send it to you, which is always Royal Mail Special Delivery insured to the correct amount.
Q: 'Is ring sizing complimentary?'
A: Yes we never charge for sizings, with one exception. That is if you have purchased a ring before and returned it, we then reserve the right to charge £30 restocking fee for any future purchases that are returned to cover costs.
Q: 'If I send you my old gold is it safe and do I have to pay to send it?'
A: Absolutely! When sending any gold to us we will ask you to send it by Royal Mail Special Delivery insured to the maximum of £2500. If you suspect that your gold is worth more than this amount you can send a second or third parcel. For peace of mind we video ourselves opening the parcel up and spread out its contents. We will then weigh and price up your gold. Please note that if there are stones or other non gold parts to your jewellery we will have to make an estimation of their weight to deduct from the total, or if you give us permission we can remove said non gold aspects from the jewellery. We will then give you a price for your jewellery and once you have accepted our offer we will transfer the sum directly to your bank account. You can also get a 10% bonus amount if you wish to spend the amount on a piece of our jewellery. Oh, and we pay for your postage whether or not you take up our price offer.
Q: 'Is the jewellery hallmarked?'
A: All our jewellery will be hallmarked. If you've opted to purchase one of our exquisite French items of jewellery, please note that the French hallmark their jewellery with different marks and also on the base of the ring.
Q: 'How long does sizing my ring take?'
A: This can vary quite a bit! There's a few variables to this question. The main reason is usually how busy our workshop is, so please bear in mind the time of year, Christmas and Valentines day being the obvious busy times. Next is usually down to how complicated the ring is to size. Those are the main factors, so please allow approximately 2 weeks to receive your ring, although this is usually the longest it'll take. If your purchase is for a special occasion and needed for a specific date, please be sure to let us know at the time of purchase and we will advise if this is possible.
Q: 'Can I pay in cash?'
A: Sorry no. We only accept card payments, bank transfer and Paypal.
Q: 'Do you sell to overseas customers?'
A: Yes we certainly do. As long as we have cleared funds and that the postage address matches the payment method address, we will send your item of jewellery insured via a quality carrier such as Fedex or UPS signed for.
Q: 'Do you have a shop where I can try your jewellery on?'
A: We do! You can visit our shop at: 1 Sea Lane, Rustington, West Sussex BN16 2RD.
